Second Night of Hope Fundraising Gala • A masquerade fundraising gala for Resources of Hope, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization to meet the physical and emotional needs of foster youth living in central Indiana. Resources of Hope is seeking sponsors and auction items for the gala. Featuring Grafton Peek Catering, a silent auction, wine pull, heads or tails and a 50/50 raffle. Aspire Legislation Matters Virtual Zoom Meeting • Luncheon with our state legislators. Mental Health and Safety in Challenging Times • The COVID-19 crisis has taken a toll on mental health both collectively and individually. Dealing with so many changes and unknowns has created economic, social and educational challenges for families and individuals everywhere and the increased stress and worry can be so damaging to our mental health, well-being and relationships. We will discuss how the combination of stress and isolation can lead to unhealthy relationships. You will better understand the causes of domestic violence, why it’s not always just physical abuse and how to get help if you or someone you know is in an unsafe relationship. This workshop will teach you ways to protect your own mental health when dealing with a crisis and how to recognize the signs and symptoms in others who may be experiencing mental health challenges.
