Roncalli High School juniors Arthur and Jaylen Koehl made the trip to Philadelphia on Sept. 22-27 with their mother, Tamara and younger brother, Theodore, to attend the World Meeting of Families (WMOF). Held every three years and sponsored by the Holy See’s Pontifical Council for the Family, the World Meeting of Families is the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families. The theme of the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015 was “Love Is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive,” emphasizing the impact of the love and life of families on our society.
Over 100 presenters spoke on love, faith and family during the four-day event. The younger Koehl brothers attended The World Meeting of Families (WMOF) Youth Congress, which occurred simultaneously with the Adult Congress. To conclude their experience, the Koehl’s attended Mass said by Pope Francis on Sunday, September 27.
