Alda B. Andrews, 74, of Indianapolis, died June 6. She was born May 28, 1935, in Everett, Pa. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jack P. Andrews; children, Robyn Andrews and Jon (Kim) Andrews; sister, Wilma Clark; brothers, Paul, Virgil, Harold and Don Ritchey; and grandchildren, Madelyn, Nicholas and Lily Andrews. Services were held June 10 at University Heights United Methodist Church. Burial was at New Palestine Cemetery.

Joseph Blazek Jr., 76, of Indianapolis and Naples, Fla., died on Dec.17, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Elizabeth (Turner) Blazek. He is survived by his brother, James (Tina) Blazek; his sister, Mary Alice (Blazek) Fisher; his children Sidney L. (Jeanne) Blazek, Vickie L. (Jeff) Miller, Robert J. (Sue) Blazek, Anthony W. (Kyla) Blazek, Joseph Q. Blazek and Jerold I. (Sandy) Blazek; his stepchildren, Lois (Jeff) Admire, Alan T. Duncan and Amy K. (Robert High) Duncan; and 23 grandchildren. He was a retired builder and developer of homes and commercial developments and was a former owner of Wilson-Blazek Builders Inc. of Indianapolis. He remained active in his real estate developments up until his death. He was a 1950 graduate of Southport High School, where he quarterbacked the only undefeated football team. He was a member of the Southside Sertoma Club, Indianapolis Valley of Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine and Southport Lodge No. 270 F. & A.M. He and his wife Janet were devoted members of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Naples, Fla., and the Southport Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He was an avid fisherman and Colts fan. The family held a private ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Naples. A memorial gathering and service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at the Southport Masonic Lodge, 5678 S. East St. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Emerson Avenue Baptist Church Food Pantry, 308 N. Emerson Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219. William Todd Pryor, 53, of Beech Grove, died June 4. He was born July 19, 1955, to the late William E. and Margaret E. Pryor. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane M. Pryor; children, Elizabeth A. Pryor and John D. Pryor; step-children, Ava M. (Phil) Beeson and Ty D. (Amber) Kavanaugh; sister, Beth (Steve) Hanson; brother, Andy (Louise) Pryor; and seven grandchildren. The funeral was held June 8. Burial was at Round Hill Cemetery.

David Allen Rigdon, 35, of Indianapolis, died May 27. He was born December 15, 1973, to Jimmy Dean Rigdon Sr. and Deborah L. (Brown) Rigdon who survive him. Survivors include son, Austin Allen Randall Rigdon; daughters, Amanda Jane Martin, Abby Lynn Rigdon; brother, Michael Thomas Rigdon; step-brother, Larry Dale Rigdon; sister, Crystal Lorraine Rigdon; step-sister, Keila Lorraine Duh and granddaughter; Aliza Martin. He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Dean Rigdon Jr. Services were held May 29 at Fountain Square Mortuary. Burial was at Floral Park Cemetery.

Rose Marie Swift, 84, died Monday, June 8, at Rosegate Village. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born July 14, 1924, in Botkins, Ohio. Her parents were Joe and Mary (Lenhart) Becher, and her stepfather was Harlan Stoneburner. She married Paul K. Swift on July 5, 1947. He survives. Other survivors include six sons, Joe A., David L., Don C., Glenn A., Gary A. and Raymond A. Swift; a daughter, Janet M. Fraze; three brothers, Richard, Paul and Tom Becher; two sisters, Elnora Beachnaw and Mary Early; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Becher, and a sister, Carolyn Spiggle. She was employed by Uniroyal Tire Co. and Pinella Drugs for 15 years. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Visitation was held at the Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory. A Mass of Christian Burial service was held at Nativity Catholic Church, and burial was in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker.
